21 - Updates to these Rules

21.1    We may update any of these Rules from time to time.

21.2    Any updates to the Rules will take effect when a revised version of these Rules is published to our website at https://rules.retentiondepositscheme.org.

21.3    Subject to Rule 21.4 the version of the Rules applicable to a specific Contract and Contract Account will be the Rules in force at the time the Contract is accepted into the Scheme.

21.4    If we have to update these Rules due to changes in law in order to ensure that these Rules and our operation of the Scheme remain compliant with the law, any such changes will apply immediately to Contract Accounts that have already been accepted into the Scheme, as well as new ones for Contracts accepted after their publication.

21.5    If we are required to update these Rules and Rule 21.4 applies, we will notify you and will notify you of the change to the Rules.
